=X
Looks like its impossible to update more often, seeing as nothing much is happening.
Afternoon edit
Sleeping like a bat nowadays. I must say I prefer the solitude of the night compared to the buzz of the day. So much nicer to be up way in the night/ early morning and not have to deal with people. Hence the reason I am sleeping later now. The only problem is that I will wake up in the afternoon and waste my mornings away, which I hate. Also feel tired in the afternoons, and energised in the evening. I like seeing the soft red glow of the early mornings, being awake only hours before people actually awakes. The only problem is my body's internal clock will be so, so messed up.

More sports
More basketball on sunday. And soccer. Played both of them for around 5 hours. Reminiscent of sec school days. Fun times.

Chop... in golf?! (thanks to wilson)
Cool vid of archer fish

Yesterday was decidedly a good day!
Went to play some basketball, which meant stepping out of my house for the first time in about a week. Played some basketball (gee, I seem to be repeating myself) with dan and his bro + cousin, th, keith. Nice to play some sports again since before our MST when we took a break from sports for one reason or another. My skills deproved though ._. I guess all of ours did. Kinda obvious when dan and I were under the basket trying to get a shot in, but failed even though we snatched like 5 rebounds. Hung around with them a little longer after that before going home.
And being unable to sleep cause of my limbs. Or rather, the pain (ache?) in them. >.< So ended up sleeping at 5 and waking at 12. Today(yesterday, since its past 12, which would make the first line 2 days ago I guess) is a decent day. Caught 2 movies. LOTR and Battle Royale.
Violent descriptions and movie spoilers below
Battle Royale is interesting. It has a rather twisted (not in a good way!) story and blood and violence and gore. Not that different from other movies aside from the story. Its about this future Japan where the government is pretty inefficient, causing youths to be more delinquent ( if its possible, hehe). So they are pretty recalcitrant of authority, which is seen in the first few scenes where a teacher get stabbed in the tight in school. The government then established this Battle Royale law which turns out to allow them to kidnap a random class and force the people in the class to kill each other until theres only 1 survivor.
So it has a really sick story, but the blood and gore and violence aren't really bloody, gory, or violent, or it could be just the poor quality of youtube. I like the scene with the dead teacher and the exploding neck though. But the ending was stupid.
And I found this is a thread about the most disturbing movie you have seen. And from what I read, this seems like one of the milder ones. So tomorrow will probably be more movies which I aminterested in watching curious about ( Yeah, that doesn't make me seem like a psychopath. Hopefully). Unless we end up playing soccer. Then it will be another post about my deteriorating sports skills. Like this post.

Google Chrome
Is that supposed to be one word or two words?
In case you are wondering, Google Chrome is the new web browser launched by (da dadah daa!) Google. It was launched yesterday (today?, well around 10pm EST if anyone wants to convert that time to sg time). Coincidentally, I found out about it only yesterday (technically today). Although it's still in beta, I find it useful. It has many interesting features which I think will improve the standard of web browsers. Best thing is, its open source, so thanks Google =).
Download here
Read the comic
Wiki page
So, here are some of the features I find interesting.
Security-wise, it updates two blacklists of phishing and malware sites and warn users when they try to enter an unsafe site. Sandboxing tabs is another cool one. Basically, each tab is in its own process and what happens in one cannot affect the others. So, if you get say malware in one tab, closing it will terminate the whole thing and prevent it from affecting the other tabs.
I will say the security functions are the greatest impetus to use this. Aside from that, they try to make a cleaner interface and opening a new tab allows you to see which websites you visit most frequently ( it shows bookmarks, popular pages of yours and recently closed tab). Useful, but there are some problems (hopefully for now).
The Speed! Its supposed to be meant for applications, as the 'new' web is not just text. However, I find it runs noticably slower than FF. And there aren't extensions yet, but since this is just the beta...
I can't wait for it to be officially launched ( as in, not a beta). Maybe its just the name of google and the reputation that comes along with it, but I think it will be a better browser than the rest.
And if I sucked at talking about Google Chrome, read the wiki/comic !

TDK;KR
Welp, my movie review!
SPOILERS
TDK obviously refers to Le Dark Knight. Great show, I'd say. I like how dark it was (duh!), especially all the scenes with joker dealing with the mobsters. I will say the pencil scene is the best. It showed off joker's insanity and wit. Also a very original scene (joke?). Only part I disliked was the last part with the people in the ships. I felt that it was too good an outlook of human's nature. Call me cynical, but in real life, it would be more like the old Wild West duels.
3, 2, 1, DRAW, and both ships explode.
"Principally I hate and detest that animal called man; although I heartily love John, Peter, Thomas, and so forth." - Jonathan Swift
KR is the lesser, in fact almost unknown, Kallang Roar, the movie. It was ... different to watch a movie with only 3 people in the cinema. It was a good show, interesting story and decent acting. I just felt the soccer scenes weren't done good enough, but to their credit, it is a difficult thing to show. Still, I have seen worse films than this, so kudos to the director (and crew).

Wonders of wonders!
Back to post after so many months, can't say it was because I was too busy, more like my laziness.
Its been a week since my MST ended, and I am slacking at home nowadays. The lecturers have been good to us, I must say. =D Intro to comm. principles (ICP) was surprisingly doable, even for Jordan ( the slackiest of us all? ). And how do I know he's the slackest ( or he could be a closet mugger I guess)? Well, Jordan, being Jordan, is very good at digressing. And lunch on ICPday turned into a highlight reel of THE best moments ( and the worst of ours) of his life. So we didn't get much work done on that afternoon. Except at the cafe. Where we watched apples kill. And why do I keep saying we? Well, Wilson was there too, but I suppose my fingers felt like getting more exercise.
And Fundamentals of Marketing, my only other MST was ok too. A couple of difficult questions, but it went alright. I was more worried about ICP anyways, since FOM seemed more like understanding to me.
So, my proposed holiday activities are these :
I guess I might practice the guitar, work on harder songs, learn some techniques, basically slacking with a guitar. I considered (considering) working, which seems like fun to me, except I don't feel like working, and it isn't fun. Looking into freelance writing actually, but I am not sure Singapore is conducive to freelance writers. I am not sure if I am cut out for it anyway. Maybe I'll get some short stint works if I chance upon any. Not too concerned, its merely a month anyway.
Aside from the MST, other stuffs have happened too.
To Prin, I know that I am mostly at fault and I apologise for that.
Depending on you are,gfj too
Although I am not even who you refer to, since I haven't even written for so long, lol. Meh, maybe I'll change that this holiday, maybe not. I am not even sure if you exists actually. Philosophical o0 ( and I don't the appropriate emote for that, I wonder if I can steal those)
So aside from MSTs, there have been other final projects for this semester.
Design Basics :

There's another 1, but its in the wrong format. Suffice to say, it was excellant. And I am not even sure if that is the final version, its been that long.
Intro to media writing ( I'll upload the pictures MAYBE later).
And Oral comm, my best presentation yet, haha!
I guess I'll end my post with extreme narcissism now.
I am not even sure if I can post this, my internet connection has been so (alas!) dicey the past 2 days. Which is boreding the hell out of me.

Ok, here to blog again since someone complained.
Well, lots of things happened (will be happening) last week (and this week). Completed FOM, DB, and bought a new guitar. Been busy practicing it. Will need to finish up FOM and ICP this week.
Went to watch the arts festival yesterday. It was nice-ish, except the fireworks were so bright that they hurt my eyes, and I had no idea what the story is about. Based on what I saw, I think its about a girl and her nightmares? Meh, didn't get to see much anyway, but had an enjoyable time anyways.

Lets see what happened the past couple of days. Had FOM presentation on friday, I did alright I guess, considering I only prepared on the day itself. Actually have no idea how good I did, should get someone to video me sometime.
Sat was junxian bday. Walked around Katong trying to find Settler's Cafe before realising it was closed >.< Walked around more, then went to play pool.
Sun went to the new mall at Downtown East, EHub or something. Wasn't that special, kinda boring actually. Walked around, went back to White Sands went to the beach, basically walked around between Downtown East and the MRT.
Today - stayed home! Attempted DB, but, had no idea how to do it.
Yeah, I am lazy to blog too much now.

Went out today to Clarke Quay. Walked around before heading to Esplanade. Saw something interesting there. Dragon boat tug-of-war! Whee. Thought it was just a regular dragon boat race at first. Then I realised that they were not racing but trying to outpull each other. Aha, how interesting. Ingenious how they managed a tug of war with boats. And I got the name from Channel 5 news. Pity we didn't stay longer. The water looked really nice at night in the news. Nice day today.

CYA and CIP
Sat - Went to airport early in the morning for the CYA interview. Was almost late though, cause I stupidly set the alarm for pm instead of am. Had to rush there, waited for a while, then got interviewed by another girl. Bleh. Horrible interview. Stupid me, giving run-of-the-mill answers, I seriously doubt that I can get in now. And the interview ended so abruptly. I thought there would have been more questions, but it was over in like 3 questions.
Went back home to slack, then returned to airport for CD and FOM projects. Lingered at BK for about 3~ hours. After completing the projects, walked around T3. Went out and had dinner before going home.
Sun - CIP! Its difficult to get hyped about this at 6.30am in the morning though. Took the train, where I couldn't even sleep well to Sengkang, met up with jordan, han fei and tammy. No coffee shops were open though, only coffee I could find were the bottled ones in 7-11 >.<
Took bus, alighted at the wrong stop, had to walk further down the road to IMH, where we walked the perimeter of it instead of cutting through the buildings. CIP was okay. They had lots of other volunteers, so I ended up doing the miscellaneous and minor stuff like passing out drinks. Spent most of the time slacking around the fat analysis area though. Stayed till 2ish, even though we were supposed to stay till 4. On the plus side, we all got 7 hours and an A grade now. They also seemed to want us to return to help out with another event, a concert or something?
Went back to Pasir Ris with jordan and han fei instead of shopping or whatever the rest of the class did. Met up, had dinner, went home.
And I hate this weekend, so tiring, having to meet up to do school things. Feels like a 14 day week to me... =.=

Its emo day today
As the title said, I am pretty emo today. Have no idea why, just hated the thought of school today. But me being me, and sp being the strict disciplinary institution that they are I had to drag myself to school. Today much to talk about, didn't feel like studying today, especially with the crappy lessons of fridays. Actually I have a good idea of why I am so emoish. Cause I kept thinking yesterday was the weekend, see, and 1 day of holiday isn't enough for me. Rightly so, since I'll be spending this weekend doing school-related stuff. BLEH.
Yesterday was fine though, went out with prin and st to find job. Then played lan. Started getting depressed at night.
Meh, still have CYA interview tomorrow, followed by projects. Should I slack on sunday or do my ITB ppt? Hm. And I am listening incessantly to my favourite song again. Which may be contributing to me emoness.
I want to sleep in tomorrow, but have to wake up early just to get interviewed. T_T
And I just remembered what school-related activity I have on sunday. CIP! Yay, hope I'll have cheered up by then.

Today
Actually lazy to blog, but scared someone will complain, haha, nvm, good practice for my career.
Things that happened to me - finished my first project, got selected for second CYA interview.
I want to watch An Oak Tree, it sounds so interesting. $28, wed thurs sat and sun. Its based on improvisation, the performers only know the script an hour before the play. Interesting ya?

But how long is long?
Ahem, here to update, lol. Lets see, I suppose I'll start with saturday.
Sat - What did I do on sat? Lemme think... My mind is totally blank now. I suppose I could have gone out. I may or may not have stepped out or not the door and went out with friends. I think. Gah, curse my short term memory. Oh wait, its coming back to me now. I remember playing lan at night with prin. Hm, I might have gone to suntec in the afternoon, or was that on sunday? Lets just say it was on sat. Oo, stan by eminem is on the radio now. Like that song, lol. Go randomness. And walked for like 5 hours-ish. And ate subway. Whee. Actually it wasn't too good, way too spicy, thanks to my stupid choices of toppings ( or whatever you call additional stuffs on subs). Gee, who knew Jalapeno pepper was actually green chili? Stupid archie, making me think its something exotic...
Sun - I think I studied. Pretty boring day anyways. The length of saturday should make up for sunday. That, or I ran out of things to pad my post with.
Mon - New schoolday! Took train with th today, we must be jinxed. Took to pasir ris, mucho seats in the train, then we had to get off and wait for another train! Exact same thing that happened last week! What happened in school? I guess nothing much, IMW was fun. Went to the CCA showcase at FC5 - Moberly during the break and after school. Our school has so many CCAs, haha, so difficult to decide what to join. Got things like capeira, which I don't know how to spell but please don't suan me cause it is a Brazilians word, canoeing, um, I don't know what else, but take my word that there are lots of CCAs.
Tues - Signed up for CCA. Decided to take OOPS (newletter), CYA (Changi Youth Ambassador), Food connoiseur (which I have no idea how to spell too, okay I'll cheat and use the spellcheck, connoisseur, yes me, the gourmet eater), Skate club and community services or something. Tues was slack day of course, so after signing up for CCA, we went to Moberly to eat and play. Cafe@Moberly nanchos + melted cheese was nice, the Xbox was fun-ish (no Halo!, bleh), then went home with st.
Ate Pizza Hut, I had the curry baked rice, she the pasta thing. It was good, just the right level of spicyness IMO. I wonder if I can get CCA points if I write this kind of reviews for Food Connoissuer club, henceforth know as FCC since I keep forgetting how to spell it. Went library, walked around, went home.
And I got lots of books to read, whee. But how will I finish my projects at this rate? At least I finished the timeline, now to complete the tougher 2 page biography of a not-named-artist-in-case-anyone-steal-my-idea. Ahem, I reckon I am a genius on the Arts movement now. Except for the more famous ones like Impressionist and romance movement which even I have heard. At least I have heard of surrealism, not a total art dummy.
And thats all for this post, I hope you are satisfied, it took me 20minutues, the longest I have taken to write a blog. I expect an even longer post from you next time.
